Recently I got to sit down with the members of Iwrestledabearonce at The Masquerade in Atlanta. It was originally a video interview, but typing it out made more sense, so you can catch all the funny stuff that was said during the interview. Enjoy and check out their new CD "It's All Happening!"

How are you guys?
A resounding GOOD! YEA! HAPPY!

What animal will you not wrestle and why?
Steven- Krysta's dog because she is a brutal, savage beast. And pterodactyls, I hate dinosaurs.
Krysta- Aliens. Wait, does that count as an animal?

On the 4th of July, on your twitter page (@iwabo) you said you exploded fireworks in a hamburger, describe this?
Steven- I started blowing up a ton of shit in the living room because I was drunk. My friend Brian had the burger in his mouth and I put fireworks in it while he was eating the burger. He was drunk too, so he kept it there, and it blew up right in his face, on the ceiling, everywhere. We probably should have died that day.

What is the guilty pleasure for IWABO?
Steven- We don't have any guilty ones, we are pretty proud of what we like. Mical likes a lot of terrible shit. Seal, Michael Jackson, but now it's cool to like Michael Jackson because he is dead. Wierd.
We used to like him when he was sleeping with little boys. (laughter)

Your album "It's All Happening" came out on #121 on Billboard, how happy were you with that response?
Krysta- We were super surprised and excited, we even went out and celebrated. Couldn't believe it!
Steven- Yea, it's good to know some people like us haha.

It was a surprise to me because your band is either loved or hated, what do you say to the haters out there?
Krysta- Hate us even more.
Steven- Good job, I get to live in a van with my friends and play guitar so I sleep well at night. It's cool to be hated though. Well it's either they appreciate our music or they want to kill us, and they pray our van flips over. So it's good we are getting a strong reaction, ya know, "hell yea they play songs" or "oh my god they are still playing songs!"

You guys have an insane live show, do you have a favorite show of all time?
Krysta- It varies, sometimes we are like "That was the best show ever!" and other nights we are like "Well there is still tomorrow!"
Steven- With us, we are either super pumped about shows or we are like "Wow that was the worst fucking shit ever, we are such assholes."
Krysta- We are human, we're not perfect.
Steven- We are ready for Europe, I think that entire tour will be magical.
Krysta- Magical-like having pixy dust follow us under the bus, ya know if we drink enough Absinthe and start seeing shit.

So when you are off the stage, what can we find you doing?
Steven- We got 3 video gamers, Krysta sews a lot and makes jewelry and stuff. I do nothing, we are terribly boring people. We watch a lot of old horror movies, bitching about them remaking Nightmare On Elm Street.

It was bad enough they remade Friday the 13th.

Steven- Yea but we talk about this a lot. That's a pretty easy plot- get a big motherfucker, dumb whores will take their shirts off, and then you kill them. You can't really ruin that. But Nightmare On Elm Street is a whole nother story. Wes Craven isn't even excited about it, why should I be? Fuck you Michael Bay!

Right on, any last words to the IWABO fans?

Steven- Michael Bay is a bitch! Michael Bay ruins everything by confusing explosions for plots and substance.
Krysta- Yea Freddy Krueger is gonna have dynamite on his gloves.
Steven- Yea Micael Bay is going to give him dynamite gloves, so when he attacks you , it's like BAM! POW! BOOM!
