The Mission of SkullsNBones.com is to be the singular authority for all things related to and affecting Heavy music and culture by creating an easily accessible database of information and entertainment that will unify the community of consumers, fans, and performers through articles on, and a directory of bands and establishments, a calendar of upcoming relevant events, SkullsNBones.com sponsored shows, promotion of advertising between the participants, and a forum for direct conversation, among many other things.

Our Mission in detail:

- We will unify the splintered worldwide metal community by consolidating the information, and combining the resources already in place.
- We will have interviews, articles, and reviews of bands, shows, establishments, and any other event we feel is relevant to the metal community.
- We will have entertainment columns, authored by established celebrities.
- We will have a database of profiles of all heavy bands that resemble and will eventually replace their Myspace pages.
- We will have an up-to-date calendar of all shows and events relevant to the heavy music community.
- We will provide advertising space for bands and establishments both on the site itself and at SkullsNBones.com sponsored events.
- We will provide a forum for open discussion of bands, establishments, and events as well as a free classified section.
- We will establish ourselves as the final word in all things relating to heavy music and a brand equal to wikipedia in our community.
